If you are in the Wordpress development community and have been under a rock, you will find out that Wordpress 2.3 has been released. The big new feature in WP 2.3 is Tags. Personally, and from the community at large, the concensus is that the WP Tag implementation is not quite as good as The Ultimate Tag Warrior’s plugin, but it is usable and will probably continue to get better.

If you are using UTW, it’s not yet compatible with 2.3 so don’t upgrade just yet. I am using 2.3 on this website as well as my new Take My Tech website.

I am happy to report no problems so far, I will probably address any technical issues and comments on my Philoking.com blog.
